• Initial Consultation & Site Assessment
  

Every project begins with an in-depth consultation with Director Daniel Shannon. During this stage we take the time to understand your goals, ideas, and how you would like to use the outdoor space.

Daniel takes the time to listen carefully to each client’s ideas and goals, while also providing professional guidance based on his extensive experience in landscaping and construction. This collaborative approach helps refine ideas into practical solutions that work well for the property.

Daniel then conducts a thorough assessment of the property, reviewing the entire site rather than just the immediate area of the proposed works. This includes considering levels, access, drainage, orientation, existing structures, and the surrounding landscape. This early assessment helps identify opportunities, constraints, and potential design directions before planning begins.

• Design & Planning
  

Where required, the design phase develops the layout and structure of the outdoor space. This may involve landscape design, pool design, or planning for features such as pool houses, entertaining areas, paving, or retaining walls.

Depending on the scope of the project, design documentation can range from simple concept plans through to fully scaled drawings and detailed construction plans. For larger or more complex projects, 3D renderings may also be developed to help visualise the proposed layout and how different elements will work together across the property.

Designs are developed with construction in mind, ensuring concepts are practical to build while achieving a refined and well-resolved outcome for the property.

• Approvals & Documentation
  

Depending on the scope of the project, council approvals or formal documentation may be required before construction can begin. This can include Development Applications (DA), Complying Development Certificates (CDC), or other relevant approvals.

Where required, we assist clients in understanding and navigating the approval process. This may involve preparing supporting information, coordinating documentation, and where appropriate recommending external professionals such as certifiers or engineers to ensure the project progresses smoothly through the required approval stages.

• Construction & Project Management
  

Once planning and approvals are complete, construction begins. Because Divine Landscape Creations manages both landscaping and pool construction in-house, we act as the primary contractor for the entire project.

Having one experienced team overseeing the full build allows all elements of the project to be coordinated under a single contractor. This helps streamline communication, maintain consistent workmanship, and ensure each stage of construction progresses efficiently from start to finish.

• Completion & Handover
  

As construction nears completion, attention turns to the final details that bring the entire project together. Every element of the outdoor space is reviewed to ensure it has been completed to the expected standard and aligns with the original vision for the project.

Our goal is not simply to complete the work, but to deliver an outdoor living space that exceeds our clients’ expectations. Before handover we ensure all aspects of the build have been finalised, the site is prepared, and the finished space is ready to be enjoyed. The result is a carefully constructed outdoor environment designed for long-term enjoyment and lasting quality.
